What is Neurokietic Therapy ?
Neurokinetic therapy is an application of Motor Control Theory, neuroscience, and functional anatomy (neurobiomechanics) that will help you unravel the cause of faulty movement patterns in the brain's Motor Control Center.
How does Neurokinetic Therapy work?
NKT identifies muscle imbalances by using unique protocols to determine what muscles are (inhibited) NOT WORKING and what muscles are (compensating) OVER WORKING for them, thereby allowing you to utilize specific treatments and corrective exercise techniques to restore proper movement patterns and reprogram the motor control center.(Your Brain)
NKT addresses the WHY!
Movement does not work in isolation. Working on only “tight” muscles, adjusting locked up joints or “stripping adhesions” or only “strengthening weak” muscles, will not CHANGE or CORRECT the Faulty Movement Patterns. You have to correct the Motor Control first.
